Weekly Diary: Week 1

 Hello everyone! 

My name is Kezia Rekha Betania, but you can call me Kezia, because it's obviously too long :)

This is my weekly diary as a mathematics major student in international class, at State University of Surabaya (UNESA). I would happily tell you about my first week of studying (study and not dying) in UNESA. 

Starting of with Monday, the first day of the week. I try to be diligent and disciplined bye waking up at 4 a.m in the morning. I use the time distance between my wake up time and my college time to take a bath, make a breakfast, clean my room, and spend my time with God by praying and reading the Bible. On Monday, there's only one virtual class that I have to join, so I don't think I have something exciting on that day.

Moving on to Tuesday and Wednesday, I met different types of lecturers. Even though one of them looks scary, I think all of them are nice. It's good to know that I will meet them for the next six months.

On Thursday, my grandmother, who's been with me in my boarding house, went back to my uncle house in Sidoarjo. I felt sad that I can't meet her oftenly again, because she live in Lampung. She went to Jakarta on Saturday night, with a train. I was with her at the train station on that night. I need to keep in mind that it's not a forever farewell. I believe and hopefully, she will live until I graduate from UNESA. 

Well.. there're a lot of things that can be happen in a week. For the first week, I'm still adapting to the new environment and still trying to figure out how things work as a college student. Fortunately I found my friends felt the same way, so I won't feel alone in this situation.

WEEKLY DIARY 6

[October 7th-13th, 2024] I got pranked.. I supposed to have an English course on Monday morning. But they suddenly cancelled it. I could've stayed at my uncle's house for one more day! I also walked fast to UNESA because I almost late ( I thought so). It turned out there's no English course on that day. There's also no other course on that day, because the teacher was sick. I started to feel tired. Nothings heavy, but I felt it's hard to be cheerful everyday. I don't know why, but I always feel tired and sleepy. Then, I felt homesick. I missed my family and I worried for them. I think there was nothing to worry about, but still I felt worried. My friend also was sick. I worried for her. I worried about my future. WEEKLY DIARY 4: THE HECTIC WEEK

This is a weekly diary, a report from 23th September until 29th September 2024. I felt burn out. I feel stressed because there're a lot of work to done on that week. I made a ppt, resume, and video for the same subject and with the same deadline. It was a group project that contains three people. But my group members are passive and both introverts like me. It's hard for me to communicate with them. Not only one subject, but every subjects in college always give an assignment every week. Also on Saturday, there's UNIOM (a major prospect). That made me feel exhausted. I was feeling sick on Monday. My body felt weak and I think I had a bit of a fever on that day. I still tried my best to finished all the assignments before deadline. On Wednesday, I was feeling better, until... I drank a cold chocolate milk in the morning without having a breakfast. That was one of big mistakes that I did. Weekly Diary 5

This is my weekly diary on 30th September until 6th October 2024. It's finally been a month since I started to go to college. I feel excited to started the week.  On Wednesday, It was Batik day! All of my classmates wear batik on that day. We took a picture together in front of Mr. Abadi's flower board. I went through the days as usual. It just like a normal week. Well it's not really that normal, because learned and started to pray for others. I realized that I don't know what's inside other people's mind and I couldn't help them that much if they didn't talk to me. I hope, everyone who's having hard time will be helped by the hand's of God. On weekend, I went to my uncle's house in Sidoarjo. I had a relaxing time on that weekend.
